This training will help you transform your relationship with food by understanding and replacing comfort food cravings with healthier alternatives.
What You'll Learn:
Step 1. Craving Decoded: We'll explore the science of comfort food – what triggers cravings, when they hit hardest, and the emotional connections we form with certain foods.
Step 2. Breaking the Cycle: Discover how to identify and interrupt the self-defeating cycle of comfort eating. Learn strategies to break free from unhealthy patterns.
Step 3. Upgrade Your Menu: Uncover a variety of delicious and nutritious options, both edible and non-edible, that can replace your go-to comfort foods.
Step 4. Interactive Craving Buster: Put theory into practice! We'll delve into the "why" behind your cravings through group exercises. Explore these steps:
Step 1: Identify: I crave...(e.g., mac and cheese)
Step 2: Understand: When...(e.g., feeling overwhelmed)
Step 3: Uncover: Because...(e.g., it reminds me of childhood comfort)
Step 5. Create Your New Comfort Zone: Using the insights from the craving buster activity, we'll develop a personalized "healthy swaps" menu to help you manage cravings and create a more positive relationship with food.
By the end of this session, you'll be empowered to make informed choices, break free from unhealthy habits, and discover a world of delicious, nourishing "new comfort foods."
